We have an excellent opportunity for a Mortgage Clerk to join us. Reporting to the Trust Account Manager the role involves a variety of accounting and administration duties including:-
- The administration of the nominee mortgage company including mortgage set up, handling advances, repayment of mortgages and mortgage interest run;
- Syndicate distributions and billing. Assistance with advances and repayment of syndicates;
- Investor and accountant queries in relation to the investment entities;
- Yearly/monthly RWT tax return;
- Monthly statements to investors;
- Checks and processes bills.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a law firm accounts role along with excellent technical and analytical skills. A sound knowledge of all aspects of legal trust accounting is required. This role will suit a highly motivated individual who takes a proactive approach, has good communication skills and a strong client focus.
